What is SPEEDIMobile?

SPEEDI goes mobile! WSW presents the first SPEEDI app which enables you to use the IDoc visualization from your SAP® system – just like the well-known SPEEDI monitors.

The search for IDocs / IDoc dates can take place via 3 selection options:
- pre-defined variants of the SPEEDI IMon in SAP®
- the date or an optional applied set of messages for the SPEEDI IMon
- directly by inserting an IDoc-number

On the individual screens of SPEEDIMobile relevance business data for each IDoc can be visualized.

What is SPEEDI?

From a technical point of view SPEEDI can be described as an ABAP application, which is fully integrated into SAP ERP and is release-independent without any restrictions. SPEEDI supplements and enhances the SAP standard functionality for logistical processes without modification to the SAP standard in the modules Sales & Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Production Planning and Controlling (PP) and finances and controlling (FI/CO). All processes are visualized by implementing user-friendly interfaces. The Add-on solution can be seen as a toolbox which offers configurable ABAP-functional modules, monitoring, reports, processes and solutions for OEM-specific EDI processes as well as the required forms.

With SPEEDI, WSW Software GmbH has created a worldwide unique integration platform, where the necessary enhancements for processes of delivery, ordering, shipment, invoice or credit notes can be configured and parameterized individually via customization. In the course of the last 10 years more than 800 solution modules have been developed providing standard out-of-the-box solutions including topics such as cumulative quantities, tolerance lines, fiscal year changes, OEM-specific additional data, completeness checks for deliveries and shipments etc. – all without modification and therefore release compatible.

The Add-on also contains standardized solution packages, with which logistical processes and EDI-based process requirements can be displayed – including OEM- and supplier requirements – both, integrated into SAP and SAP compliant. These “packages” usually consist of solution modules, monitoring and forms.

Solution packages are available for different versions of third party orders and consignment store processes (SD, MM), vendor managed inventory (VMI) or supplier managed inventory (SMI), third party deliveries including shipment notes, packaging material information cockpit, SBI clearing-monitor, error clearing for delivery, shipping cockpit, analysis release performance, delivery reliability etc.

The EDI-based logistics processes of the OEM – like PSA Caldel V2, VW AMES-T/4939 and NLK, Daimler LLZ/BeFo, BMW BeloM/SPAB, Renault CINDI/LISA, HONDA HUM, NISSAN RAN, Toyota Manifest, Denso Manifest, etc. – are included as OEM-solutions in SPEEDI.
OEM-specific process enhancements call for a vast number of OEM-specific forms. With the SPEEDI label engine, these forms are provided as practice-oriented standard forms.
